Lad's...This Is What Brave Looks Like

Now then lad's, next time your on the piss with your mates and you fall over drunk and get rushed to A&E, just think of 24 yr old soldier Sapper Gregg Stevenson. A Taliban bomb claimed both his legs but did that stop him from wanting to get back to the front line. Well according to most comments I've read in a lot of the papers, you've all been very negative. Yes, a lot have said he's brave but when Gregg signed up, he didn't stop to think "oh God, I might get shot or maimed". No, true to his word he, as we put it, "soldiered on". He is in my eye's one of the most truly amazing heroes of our time and if he want's it badly then he should pursue what he know's and loves. He even learned to walk within 2 weeks of having the new artificial limbs fitted, by God that's courage.
I salute you Gregg and it is people like you and our famous army that make me so proud to be British. 24 years old, not selling drugs, hanging around street corners or getting pissed at the weekend and draining the NHS of more money. I wish you every success in the future and may your dreams that you hold come true-you deserve them.
